About Vehicle Visionary Founder - Tom Tompkins
Tom fell in love with cars a a child and has been hooked ever since. Growing up around cars, Tom has been involved with many facets of the automotive industry from drag racing, where he amassed sixteen career wins out of twenty one final round appearances, to running to separate race related online news sources to learning to work on cars in the backyard shop of his parents home while growing up. Tom understands cars not only as an experienced driver, but also from a mechanical standpoint. Additionally, Tom worked in the PR industry in the sport of drag racing while developing and maintaining websites for some of the top racers in NHRA and IHRA drag racing. Tom has experience at driving everything from rear engine dragsters to supercars and once drove a ladder truck. During late 2017, after having been involved with numerous YouTube channels since April 2007, Tom decided to start a channel originally known as Tom's Car & Truck Reviews. While letting the channel sit idle for nearly a year, Tom made the commitment in late 2018 to go full time with what is now known as Vehicle Visionary. In doing so, Tom took roughly twenty years of public speaking expedience and combined that with his love for cars. Vehicle Visionary was born!
